Canning Basics – Part I

If you have ever wished you could preserve your seasonal bounty in jars to enjoy in the middle of winter, this class is for you! This 3-part series will introduce canning to the uninitiated. Please plan to attend all 3 sessions, as registration will be limited and these are not “stand alone” classes, and anyone missing the first class will likely find the following classes difficult to follow. In part one, we will review theory about canning, review handouts, and Jeannine will answer questions. There will be examples of canning equipment to see and handle, as well as samples of various canned foods. Please note: the ticket price is for the bundle of all three workshops and includes all materials!
