Frequently
Asked Questions
Is
the five-dollar registration fee refundable?
The
five-dollar fee is non-refundable. Your participation and the five-dollar
registration fee per person/per class helps cover direct costs to the classes
program. Averaging all the expenses over the year, each class costs about $350
to run. That's over $18,000 for the whole year. Wow! The $5000-8000 dollars
that we will bring in through the $5 registration fee doesn't cover everything,
but it's a big help. Thank you!
I
can't make it to the class I registered for. Can I transfer my registration to
another class?
No,
your registration is not transferable from one class to another, though you may
send a friend in your place to the class. If you or your stand-in is unable to
attend please cancel your registration as soon as possible to make your spot
available to another interested community member.
How
do I cancel my registration?
Within
the confirmation email for the class you registered for, there is a link to
cancel your registration. Click on the link and then click "OK" to confirm that
you want to cancel your registration. If you deleted your confirmation email
you may cancel your registration in person at either Olympia Food Co-op
location. Speak with a staff member in customer service for assistance.
How
do I register for a class without a PayPal account or a credit/debit card?
To
register without a PayPal account or credit/debit you must register in person
at either store between 11am-6pm. Speak with a staff member in customer service
for assistance.
Is
registration available by phone?
No,
registration is no longer available my phone. Please register online 24/7 or in
person at either store between 11am-6pm daily.
I
love the Co-op Community Classes program. How can I donate more?
If
you have felt moved by your Co-op classes experience and would like to donate
more to the Olympia Food Co-op Community Classes Program you can do so in the store at the registers, or in person at
any Olympia Food Co-op class. Your money goes directly to the Co-op Community
Classes program so that we may continue to offer the best possible classes to
you about things you want to know about.
I
have specific questions about the content of a class. How can I find out more
and get my questions answered?
On
our registration page there are links to more information about each teacher
with email contacts and web addresses. Ask the teacher directly.
I
don't know where the class I am registered for is being held. Where do I
go?
Within
the confirmation email for your class registration there is an attachment with
detailed directions and parking information. Also under each class listing on
our website's registration page are links to more information about each class
location including a physical address and web address.
Do
I need to register to attend a class?
All
classes require registration to participate.
Can
I register in person at the Co-op?
